About this place
Modern locals' pub on Huntington Road, built in the 1980s for New Earswick (which is still a dry village). Split-level lounge, separate bar with pool and darts, beer garden, live music and quizzes. Timothy Taylor Landlord plus two changing guest ales. About two and a half miles from York Minster, with the River Foss path close by. Overnight: a stopover I've used. It's a Motor Caravanners' Club certified stopover, reported free if you buy a drink.
