A manor house over 480 years old, once home to the Earls of Lucan and later a convent, now a Brunning & Price pub. Inside there's a snug, a library and several dining rooms, with terraces and gardens outside. Local cask ales and a good cider list. The Macclesfield Canal is at the end of the drive, and Macclesfield Forest and the reservoirs at Langley are close by.
