About this place
A loop through Hawkstone's 18th-century follies: red sandstone cliffs, a grotto you feel your way through in the dark, the Obelisk and long views over the Shropshire plain from the top. The Follies are a paid attraction (£11.50 for adults and children in 2026, under-5s free) and only open Friday to Sunday from mid-February to the start of November, plus daily in school holidays. Hours are 10 to 5 with last entry at 3. Check the website before you go.
